I click on the pins to go to the originating site of all of the ideas I want to use immediately. Lately all of those clicks have been leading to your blog! You have such fabulous ideas. You mentioned your Exit Slip strategy at the end of this post. Do you have a post to describe exactly what you do? Also, I have been trying to look at all of your Math posts, but it will only show me on page worth, it won't let me look at "Older Posts"Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04666777418886512832noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5202102119215739734.post-48445745515186874332012-06-12T01:37:36.020-04:002012-06-12T01:37:36.020-04:00Thanks for nice idea.I will try teaching this to m...Thanks for nice idea.I will try teaching this to my students. Please tell me how interesting can we teach this to my students The area of a rectangular plot is 528 m2. At the end of the day they have to write about one new thing they learned during the day. In this lesson, most of the students wrote that they learned the formula for the area of a triangle, or that the area of a triangle can be found by dividing the area of the rectangle in half, etc. Thank-you for your comment!Runde's Roomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10131626283927713737noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5202102119215739734.post-73432396100589274932012-03-01T22:52:20.606-05:002012-03-01T22:52:20.606-05:00Love this idea. Within the PYP program it is very important that we let the students "figure it out for themselves". This can be a real challenge in Math. This was an amazing example of exactly that!
