Tagxedo - Wordles kicked up a notch.  You can choose the shape of the word cloud you make.  You can even upload your own pictures!

Visual Thesaurus - A great site for banishing those boring words and practicing parts of speech.

Transl8it - Transl8it is a trendy, FREE site that translates English messages into text lingo, or vice versa.

Studentreasures Publishing - A company to publish your students' writing.  You can do a whole class book, or each student can create their own book.  They also have a school-wide program.  I've used it in my class and was very impressed with the results.

Mrs. Brown's Art Class - A fabulous site full of art ideas organized by grade.  Includes examples and directions for each art project.

Spy Guys Math - A collection of interactive math lessons (great if you have a SMARTboard) geared to the grade 6 level - however I have used this site with grade 5 and grade 7 students with great success.  Note - this link only works with Internet Explorer - I can't get it to work with Chrome.

Study Ladder - An online lesson resource center.  10 different subject areas covering grades pre-K to grade 7.  FREE teacher membership.  Students can access site from home to reinforce lessons taught at school.
