Currently in June

Well, the 1st of the month means a new Currently ... thank goodness - I've been such a terrible blogger lately, I needed something quick and easy and fun to get me back in gear again.  I have to admit - I barely have the energy to crawl to the end of the year right now - school is crazy (I got two new students in the last two weeks), testing has just begun, my girls are super busy right now, I'm taking a course, haven't even started report cards ... and I still have another month of school!!!  {waving white flag}  I think I'm having anxiety just thinking about it all.

Anyhow, here it is ... I'm linking up to the ever-so-fabulous Farley for her June Currently at Oh' Boy 4th Grade.


Listening ... to hockey playoffs.  Now, I can sit and watch a game with my hubby with the best of them ... but it's June.  And I'm.Over.It.  When do I get my TV back??

Loving ... that the girls' soccer season is starting this week - LOVE watching these games (and LOVING even more that I'm not coaching this year).  All three girls are in soccer this year - can't wait.  Also loving that I'm getting ready for the girls' dance recital - my two youngest dance and their costumes this year are the most adorable little things I've seen.  I danced for 12 years when I was young, and loved every single moment of it - this brings it all back.

Thinking ... about my friend.  I went to a benefit tonight for my friend whose son has cancer (you might remember my fundraiser for Taten).  They're doing as well as they can right now - have been travelling for chemo treatments at least twice a month, and she has stayed so strong throughout everything.  She is truly my hero, and I will never forget how lucky I am.

Wanting ... more air conditioning.  It is SO hot and sticky right now.  Now, I know I shouldn't be complaining as we had snow LAST month, but I am ... and this girl wants some air conditioning.  At home and at school.

Needing ... organization.  Everywhere.  At home, at school, in life.  Everywhere.  I'm going to live vicariously through Ladybug's and Fun in Room 4B's organizational linky ... (and marvel a bit at the organizational genius) and maybe I'll be inspired to pick up an idea or two.  Okay, if I'm being honest, not pick up an idea or two, but actually carry out an idea or two.

Vacay Essentials ... I have to admit ... I'm not there yet.  I still have another month to go.  And it's such a crazy month, that I can't let my head get there yet.  But, I know I'll be needing to get my passport paperwork finished, patience (three girls under 10 at home all summer will require some patience), and plans ... just in case that patience thing isn't working out for me.  ;)

    I am right there with you on getting your tv back... I was watching something and then all of a sudden the penguins are on... WHAT!!! yep I have lost the remote...

    I don't think I have ever watched hockey on television, but I love to go to games. It's such an exciting sport! :)

    So glad that I get to comment on your blog through Currently! I have so many of your products (your Interactive Math Journal has been a life saver this past school year!). I have two daughters as well. My oldest daughter had her dance recital last night and my youngest daughter has Fall soccer try-outs for her traveling team tomorrow. Good luck with your last month of school. I hope it goes quickly and smoothly!!

    How have I not been a follower all of this time? Seriously I see you on TPT and missed the boat somehow. :o( Your blog is crazy darling! I love it. I need the whole organization thing to be going down at school { which I have started last week } and at home...summer project my closet. Have a wonderful summer.

    We have until June 21st - and yes, a white flag would be perfect! My daughter had hew dance recital today as well. Glad to have a breather before summer classes after months of booked weeknights. Phew!

    I so could not live here in Georgia without air conditioning...especially since we teachers go back to at the end of July! Stay cool!

    Yeah....organization is always high priority at the end of the year. Then, June/July comes and I say "eh, I have time" (like how I added the eh so you would understand me my Canadian friend?? ;) ) Before I know it I am smack dab into August and the kiddos are knocking at my door. I am going to have to live through Kristen and Elizabeth too ;)

    We have the opposite problem. Our classrooms are so cold we wear cold winter clothing to survive. Many say they rather have it cold, but I cannot take 66 degree classroom for 8 hours a day.
    Our last day is June 28th...we can do it!

    I remember (and am still living) those days of unending sporting events and travel here, there, and everywhere:) Crazy busy BUT wouldn't change it for the world:)))) I have come to the conclusion that I can only be organized (really well) in one place at a time....is that bad?! LOL! Happy Sunday:)

    I'm sorry you have the month left Jen! I will be in there with you through most of it, you are not alone!! Thanks for the shout out on the linky. I am never even close to where I want to be organizationally...especially at this time of year when the paperwork starts piling up. But one can dream, right?

    I hear you about this month being crazy. I hurt my leg last weekend at my niece's wedding and so I have been off this week. I hobbled in for short periods of time, but I have so much catching up to do before we finish. It is going to be nuts trying to get it all done.
    My grandchildren have dance recitals on the 15th so I will be heading down to Victoria (3 hours away) for them. That is if my leg can take the trip.
    Busy, busy, busy, but worth it in the end.
    Here's hoping your next few weeks go by as smoothly as can be expected for this time of the year.

    Oh i couldn't agree more with wanting/ NEEDING aircon in Summer! It can get so yuck and stick and here in Australia we can reach 34 degrees Celsius with some intense humidity and its shocking! :(
